DHA sent a letter of support to Representative William Bush and Senator Trey Paradee May 7th for intrducing HB 144, to address the increase in violence against health care workers by expanding the felony offense of Assault in the Second Degree to anyone that intentionally causes physical injury on any person providing health care treatment or employed by a health care provider.
