Jules Villecco is the Delaware Healthcare Association (DHAz)’s Director of Policy, supporting state legislative and policy efforts for the organization. She began her health policy career as a Legislative Assistant in the Delaware House of Representatives after completing an internship as a Legislative Fellow during her final semester of graduate school. Jules went on to serve at the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) for over four years, first as Executive and Policy Assistant to the Cabinet Secretary, and later as the Department’s Legislative Director, where she led legislative and policy initiatives on behalf of the Department and the Governor’s Office.
Jules holds a master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Delaware and a bachelor’s degree in Human Services with a minor in Disabilities Studies. Jules is also a 2024 Eastern Leadership Academy graduate with the Council of State Governments. Outside of DHA, Jules enjoys exploring new restaurants with her partner and spending cozy rainy days with her beloved fur-babies.
