In a letter to DHSS Secretary Molly Magarik, Chair of the Health Fund Advisory Committee, DHA urged against any potential cuts to the School Based Health Center (SBHC) program for fiscal year 2022. DHA said that the SBHC program should be funded, at a minimum, at current fiscal year 2021 levels, and that the SBHC program should be moved back under the General Fund to avoid future funding issues associated with the Health Fund.
