Frame-Shape

On May 7th, DHA sent a letter to U.S. SenatorsTom Carper and Chris Coons and U.S. Congresswoman Lisa Blunt Rochester asking for additional support for Delaware hospitals and health systems in the next COVID-19 relief package. The letter highlights that since COVID-19 preparations began, Delaware hospitals have lost and continue to lose more than $5.66 million per day. Previous financial relief, like that included in the CARES Act, only covers about 2 weeks worth of losses. The letter also echoes the requests made by the American Hospital Association in their letter to Congress sent May 1st.
