DHA Issues Statement on the News of DHSS Secretary Manning’s Departure

(Dover, DE – July 18, 2025) – Today, Brian Frazee, President and CEO of the Delaware Healthcare Association, issued the following statement on the news that Delaware Department of Health and Social Services Secretary Josette Manning will be departing her role in October to become the state director for Senator Chris Coons.

“On behalf of the Delaware Healthcare Association and our hospital, health system, and healthcare organization members, I want to extend my sincerest gratitude to Secretary Josette Manning for her service and commitment to the health of our state during her time as DHSS Secretary. We appreciate Secretary Manning’s leadership and partnership with us on initiatives to improve the health and wellbeing of the patients and communities we collectively serve. We look forward to continuing to work with Secretary Manning as she takes on her new role as state director for Senator Chris Coons this fall.”
