Delaware Healthcare Association’s President & CEO shared important developments in the  sent an e-newsletter to share important updates in the July Healthcare Update e-newsletter.

One of these important updates is the release of the latest Community Benefit Report, detailing the $715 million in community benefit spending Delaware hospitals and health systems contributed to our State in 2018 alone. Read more in the report.

COVID-19 hospitalizations have remained relatively low in recent weeks, yet some Delawareans are still putting off taking care of their health care needs — even critical emergency care. That’s why DHA teamed up with Delaware Department of Health and Social Services Cabinet Secretary Dr. Kara Odom Walker on a public service announcement urging Delawareans not to delay care.
