Marlow H. Levy is the President of Trinity Health Mid-Atlantic South region which includes Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital in Darby, Pennsylvania and Saint Francis Hospital in Wilmington, Delaware.
Marlow is a dynamic, forward-leaning healthcare executive with a depth of diverse experiences in health care strategy, growth, and process improvement. He has more than 30 years of leadership experience in a variety of healthcare delivery systems. He is a transformational leader with a demonstrated track record of success in business analytics, quality, benchmarking for data-driven decisions, productivity management, and the patient care experience.
Most recently, Marlow served as the Vice President of operations at Baptist Medical Center Jacksonville, in Jacksonville, Florida. At this flagship hospital, he lead multi-million-dollar construction projects, high impact cost-savings initiatives, successful quality care projects, and built relationships that significantly drove key performance indicators and influenced organizational culture change. Marlow has also served in high-level leadership positions at Advocate Aurora Healthcare, the Mayo Clinic, Kaiser Permanente, Sentara Healthcare, and facilities within United States Navy Bureau of Medicine and Surgery. At UPMC Hamot Medical Center and Sentara Careplex Hospital, he was instrumental in the hospital’s ability to earn Magnet Recognition® for nursing excellence in 2017.
Throughout his amazing career, Marlow has received many awards and professional accolades. In 2020, he was selected as the Black, Indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) Perioperative Leaders to Know by Whitman Partners. During his 25 years of honorable military service, he was awarded, two United States Navy Commendation Medals for Superior Performance, three United States Navy Achievement Medals for Superior Performance, three Humanitarian Service Awards, and three Meritorious Service and Performance Awards.
Marlow holds a bachelor’s degree in nursing from Hampton University in Virginia, a master’s degree in management from the Naval Postgraduate School in Monterey, California, as well as a master’s degree in business administration from The George Washington University, in Washington, D.C. Marlow serves on the board of the Erie County Port Authority and Erie County Regional Chamber of Commerce. He is a boar-certified healthcare executive and Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
In his free time Marlow enjoys boating, exercising, traveling, music festivals, exploring teas of the world, and spending time with his beautiful wife and daughter, Anthonia and Abigail.
