Make Your Plan to Have Healthy Holidays!

To prevent the spread of respiratory illness, wash hands frequently, stay home when sick and vaccinate against flu, COVID-19, and if applicable, RSV.

Consult with your healthcare provider:

    • Primary care (including pediatric) offices offer the flu vaccine to established patients.
    • Ask if the COVID-19 shot is available. Providers will refer you to urgent care or local pharmacy options if they don’t offer it in the office.
    • Interested in the RSV vaccine? Consult your health provider on recommendations.

Know where to go for care:

Seek care for coughs and colds from primary care and urgent care, including the many virtual care options available today, and use the emergency department for emergencies.

State of Delaware resources:

The state announced that Flu, RSV, pneumonia, COVID-19 vaccines, as well as all other routine vaccinations, are available at DPH Clinics for Delawareans six months and older. Clinics are located in all three counties. Vaccinations at DPH Clinics are available by appointment, and walk-in availability may vary by site. Delawareans are encouraged to contact their preferred location to confirm hours and services.

Hospital-affiliated pharmacies and urgent cares that offer immunizations:

Check out local pharmacy options:

  • Research local pharmacies in your area (like CVS or Walgreens). Many have appointments you can schedule online.
