Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) Secretary, Dr. Kara Odom Walker, released an important public service announcement (PSA) this week urging Delawareans to take care of their health care needs.
 
In the PSA, Dr. Walker says that Delawareans should go to the hospital or doctor’s office just like they did before the COVID-19 pandemic. She states that delaying treatment can put your health, and even your life, at risk. Delawareans should know that our hospitals and medical practices have taken extra precautions to keep patients safe from COVID-19. 
 
In closing, Dr. Walker states: “Don’t wait to take care of your health care needs. Delaware’s hospitals and medical practices are open, safe, ready to care for you.”
