The Delaware Healthcare Association (DHA) submitted a letter on December 30th in response to the Delaware Department of Health and Social Services (DHSS) request for feedback on their Strategic Planning Initiative. In the letter, DHA requested: that DHSS' internal policy memos be made avaialble to the public, that DHSS prioritize solutions to the patient abandonment/medical guardianship issue, and that DHSS support HB 257 to create a state medical loan repayment program to promote a robust primary care workforce.
