On March 21st, DHA sent a letter to the Delaware General Assembly signed by the board chairs of Delaware’s adult acute care hospital board chairs expressing their opposition to House Bill 350. This bill would replace local community leader boards governing Delaware’s nonprofit hospitals with a statewide, politically appointed five-member Board. A Hospital Cost Review Board (H.B. 350) poses a grave threat to quality healthcare in the state.
