21st Annual Delaware Healthcare Forum

The Delaware Healthcare Association in partnership with U.S. Acute Care Solutions presents the 21st Annual Delaware Healthcare Forum on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at the Delaware Technical Community College, Terry Campus, Dover, Delaware.  

Registrations are now open.  

It is a full day event, starting with breakfast and registrations at 8.30 am.  Last presentation ends at 4.30 pm.

The Delaware Healthcare Forum is the only event attended by all Delaware’s hospitals and health systems, from CEOs to Department Managers.  Last year’s event was attended by 200 attendees representing Delaware’s hospitals, health systems, and other local health care providers. 

Participating sponsors receive benefits designed to maximize their exposure to health care leaders during our annual educational and networking conference.  With your sponsorship, the Delaware Healthcare Association is able to provide healthcare education at a reasonable cost.

Here's a brief look at some of the presentations at the forum:

Delaware Deographics, presented by Dr. Edward Ratledge, Professor, University of Delaware.
Demographic trends and analysis are a potent crystall ball on where our state is headed.  Dr. Ratledge will examine Delaware by the numbers.

Under the Benchmark:  Massachusetts Hospital Perspective on Payment Reform in the Bay State.
presented by Lynn Nicholas, President & CEO, Massachusetts Health & Hospital Association.
Massachusetts is touted as a model for payment reform by Delaware Health & Social Services.  Lynn Nicholas will discuss the hospital perspective of living under a payment reform plan that may well inform what is done in Delaware.

ACHE Panel Discussion:  Employing Social Media to Build Customer Satisfaction and Community Outreach.


Reform in Delaware:  The State’s Perspective presented by Steve Costantino, Delaware Health & Social Services 
Steve will discuss the Carney Administration's vision for payment reform and the pursuit of benchmarking and a total cost of care model for Delaware.

This program is offered jointly between the Delaware Healthcare Association, Bayhealth and the Healthcare Leadership Network of the Delaware Valley.

Bayhealth is an approved provider of continuing nursing education by the Delaware Nurses Association, an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.  Nursing contact hours are pending approval for this program
